IXL coupon codes, sales, and deals
Save on Learning Without Guessing at Checkout
IXL’s most useful savings start with choosing the right membership. Before paying, ask your child’s school whether an existing IXL account includes access from home and which subjects it covers. Buying something you already have is a math problem nobody needs.
Try the Questions First
IXL lets visitors practice 10 free questions per day. Use that limited access to explore the question format and see how your child responds before purchasing a family membership. It is a useful introduction, rather than the unlimited practice included with a paid subscription.
Compare Monthly and Yearly Billing
At the time of checking, a single-subject membership for one child costs $9.95 monthly or $79 yearly. The math and language arts combo costs $15.95 monthly or $129 yearly. The core package, covering math, language arts, science, and social studies, costs $19.95 monthly or $159 yearly. Annual billing costs less than paying the corresponding monthly rate for all 12 months, but requires payment upfront. Choose based on how long you realistically expect to use it.
Keep the Family on One Plan
Additional children cost $4 each per month or $40 each per year on the enrollment form. Compare that option before purchasing separate memberships. Spanish is an optional addition at $5 monthly or $40 yearly. Start with the subjects your children will actually use; a bigger package is only better value when it earns its keep.
Know the Subscription Rules
Memberships renew automatically, and IXL says you can cancel online anytime. Sales tax may apply. The enrollment form also offers a full refund if you are not satisfied within 30 days. Keep track of your purchase date and review the applicable terms.
IXL is better approached as a subscription comparison than a coupon treasure hunt. Its help center says it does not accept third-party coupon codes or discounts. Check the current membership options, compare the total for your household, and pick a plan that matches your learning routine.
